Andrew Wimble
Chair of Trustees and member of the Investment Committee
Andrew is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities Institute and Chartered Wealth Manager, working for over 30 years as a stockbroker, fund manager and private banker. He has previously worked for JM Finn & Co, Barclays Wealth, Kleinwort Benson and ANZ Grindlays Bank. He has managed portfolios for private clients, foundations and charities. Andrew has extensive experience of charity investment management and previously has been a governor of a school. He is a committee member of the Charity Investors Group. Andrew is a keen aviator and Honorary Secretary of the Royal Air Squadron. He enjoys tennis, skiing and tending to his flock of Black Welsh Mountain sheep. Andrew was appointed a Trustee in 2013 and as Chair in 2023.

Amelia Beringer
Amelia was admitted as a solicitor in 2013. She is currently a Managing Associate in the Wealth Preservation team at Greenwoods Legal LLP based in Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London. Amelia is a keen musician and a member of the Temple Music Foundation. Amelia has two pre-school children and she enjoys playing the bassoon, singing and learning to play golf rather badly. Amelia was appointed a Trustee in 2018.

Antonia Brooks
Chair of the Joint Investment Committee
Antonia has enjoyed a varied career in Investment management beginning with Morgan Grenfell and Deutsche Asset Management. Most recently she was a partner in a London based alternatives asset manager with responsibilities for business development and the oversight of investment risk. Antonia hobbies include sailing, riding, skiing and painting. She has a keen interest in art and horticulture and combining these, she trained as a garden designer, establishing her own garden design company in 2007. She has served as a Governor at a Wiltshire Special school and is currently Chair of Trustees for St Mary’s Ascot Charitable Trust. Antonia was appointed a Trustee in January 2024.

Nina Camilleri
Nina is the Executive Director of the London Youth Choirs. She was formerly Director of Development and Planning for the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain, Director of Development and PR for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and Senior Development Manager for Scottish Opera and Opera North. Alongside these roles, Nina has also worked as a consultant to Help Musicians UK, Longborough Festival Opera and Gabrieli Consort & Players, providing business development support and advice on fundraising and governance. Nina was appointed a Trustee in 2018.

Prof. Frances Flinter MD FRCP FRCPCH
Member of the DCT/KCL Advisory Board
Frances is Emeritus Professor of Clinical Genetics at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London. She is a member of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority and of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics and was previously Clinical Director of the Evelina London Children’s Hospital. A keen musician and viola player, she is a Trustee and member of the European Doctors’ Orchestra and plays in the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra. Frances was appointed a Trustee in 2022.

Henry Freeland RIBA
Henry studied architecture at Bristol University qualifying in 1973. Since forming Freeland Rees Roberts in Cambridge in 1981 he has worked in general architectural practice on private houses, Cambridge and Oxford colleges, doctor’s surgeries, National Trust properties, country houses, ecclesiastical buildings, scheduled monuments, listed secular buildings and offices. He is accredited in architectural conservation and is a specialist in the adaptation, renovation, repair and conservation of historic buildings and monuments and designing buildings in historic contexts. He is a member of the Ely Diocesan Advisory Committee, the Fabric Advisory committees of St Alban’s & St George’s Chapel Windsor, Architect to Norwich Cathedral and Architect Emeritus to King’s College Chapel, Cambridge. Henry was appointed a Trustee in 2001.

Dr. Michael O’Brien MD FRCP
Member of the DCT/KCL Advisory Board
Michael is a retired Consultant Neurologist at Guy’s and St.Thomas’ Hospital and Consultant Neurologist to the Civil Aviation Authority. He is a Trustee of the Medical Artists Education Trust, The Friends of Guy’s and St.Thomas’ Hospital. Michael has a special interest in Khmer and Hindu Art, Archaeology and Mythology. Michael was appointed a Trustee in 2006.

Julia Sibley
Member of the Investment Committee
Julia recently retired as Chief Executive of The Savoy Educational Trust, an independent, grant giving charitable trust, whose aim is to advance and develop education, training and qualifications within the hospitality industry in the UK. Julia also has a small training consultancy within the hospitality industry. She is a Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Innholders, Deputy Chair of the Livery Committee and a Fellow of the RSA. Julia was awarded the MBE for services to hospitality in 2013. Julia was appointed a Trustee in 1995.

Johanna Tompsett
Clerk to the Trustees
Johanna is a former Director of The Trust Partnership who manage DCT’s accounting and grant administration. Having begun her career in fundraising, Jo has an excellent understanding of the UK charitable sector and governance. She is also Charity Manager for a London-based grant-maker, Governance support to other Charities and Foundations and a co-convenor of the Association of Charitable Foundation’s Small Funders’ Network. Jo is a Trustee of the UK Online Giving Foundation. She enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs on camping trips around the UK. Johanna was appointed as Clerk to Trustees in 2023.
